 In class, I read Hatchet. i have been thinking about the author's message. we had to write a reading response to the book in testing conditions. Here are my thoughts about the book.

The book Hatchet is written by: Gary  Paulsen

I think the author wants us to know that whatever may come upon us were not alone.

This book is about a young boy named brian and this is a book review about the author's message of the book named Hatchet.

I think the author’s message in this book is about Brian having the same things coming back into his head. the man with the blond hair, divorce,seakrate and telling Brians' dad everything about what his mum has been doing when brians dad isn't there and he had seen his nun in the station wagon with that blondie and when he crashed into the lake he felt pain and agony but in the end brian told his dad everything abt his mum.

       

My favorite part is when he tells his dad everything that had happened with his mum while the dad was gone.

What I thought about the book was that it was interesting and fun.
