 In class, I read Hatchet. i have been thinking about the author's message. we had to write a reading response to the book in testing conditions. Here are my thoughts about the book.

The book Hatchet is written by: Gary  Paulsen

I think the author wants us to know that whatever may come upon us were not alone.

This book is about a young boy named brian and this is a book review about the author's message of the book named Hatchet.

I think the author’s message in this book is about Brian having the same things coming back into his head. the man with the blond hair, divorce,seakrate and telling Brians' dad everything about what his mum has been doing when brians dad isn't there and he had seen his nun in the station wagon with that blondie and when he crashed into the lake he felt pain and agony but in the end brian told his dad everything abt his mum.

       

My favorite part is when he tells his dad everything that had happened with his mum while the dad was gone.

What I thought about the book was that it was interesting and fun.

my imaginative recount week 10 term 1 2022💯💥

                                                                    Survivor 

Introduction (who, where, what, why)

Emerging from the waves I looked up to see the beach was deserted and my, two cousins were. did not know how to survive on a beach all alone. 

The main event) I and my two cousins got left at the beach. (show, n not tell)

I and my two cousins had got left behind by our own families and we have stranded at a beach in France me and my two cousins had found a liter and a flint in the sand by a log was a dead bird was and I had a hatchet in the bag that I was holding on my back and yes we were still on a beach in France and we did not have proper food to eat but what we did have to eat I knew we were going to survive because we were eating and we had water that I would not drink because it was sea saltwater.

                                  

       Main eve). Finding a place to sleep-  (suspense is sheltered)

I and my two cousins had not found a shelter to sleep in yet. but what we did find was a little rock cave at the beach in the rocks and it was almost like it was a little hut because it had everything in it and there were so much useful things in it that we could use and it looked like home it had everything I had in my room at my real house.

Main Event) we find a way home   -(the most exciting part)

I and my two cousins found a way home after all of the experiences we have had at that beach and how we all found our way home back to our own families. we had found this bike track on the left side of the beach and we followed it and we ended up at the back of a shop and the shop was called France originals we jumped over the fence and saw that we were almost home” HOME I SHOUTED HOME” we are almost home so we all ran up two hills and then we saw our families and our houses and we were home. 

Ending) we thank God we are home safely -(thankfulness that God provides) 

We all thank God that we all stuck together and we all got home safely and we all thank God that he the creator that he invented everything on earth.

Care focus: I make wise choices.

Early hours in the morning. At Auckland Harbor, there was a plane accident on the Auckland harbor bridge. What happened was everyone had to emideately exit out of their car and start running to their own sides of the main highway and try to get away from danger but unfortunately, there were fifteen people that did pass well trying to escape the road where the Air new plane.

                  Info about the flight and what went wrong. 

It was quite muggy outside. There were twenty passengers, two pilots and one flight attendant and the flight was going good. when we went through the security and we got ready for take-off and when James, Michel, Quinton, john. then that was we were going to jamaica and this trip to Jamaica and it was a long way to jamaica then unexpectedly had a plane crash into the bridge. some tried to up to the top of the ocean, and sadly some people died trying to swim up to shore there were 5  people that died there were two girls and three boys and they were all teens two being fourteen and three being fifteen but unlike Michael Quinton James and john they escaped because they had faith for themselves and family, friend and others .their was only two hundred and ninety-five of us left and still alive, Health.

Things suddenly changed the four brothers john, Michel, James, and Quinton tell their story about the plane going down.in the cabin there were only two hundred and ninety-five people screaming, crying, praying to push, and shoving then I saw a family of three praying, and then the brothers just felt the emotion of the family praying then just felt the whole plane just started to fly normal again then the four brothers just felt that they were all going to be ok and safe.

MY COLD TASK TERM 1 2022 GROUP RIMA

                                                           introduction

I was so excited to see my dad so I thought I would go on a 1/2hr trip to the airport. Then suddenly I thought at the same time I could get away from my mum And go see my dad and so that's what I was thinking. so we got to the airport 1/2hour later I got out of the car and ran straight To the plane. Then I saw a pilot, then he spoke to me and said, “hop in the co-pilot chair”. So we got into the plane and then set flight. I was waving goodbye to my mum as we left the airport and it took about 2-3 hrs to get to our destination.

Main event 1                       

Our destination was in hastings. then we were driving and suddenly the pilot was having a heart attack and then I tried to help him calm down but suddenly his blood pressure and heart were slowly going down. Then 5 minutes go by and then he is slowly giving away and then boom! he sadly passed so im about 12 minutes to my destination where my dad was and so I did what I had to do and I opened the door and pushed him out of the plane and headed to my dad then I saw that my dad was on an island in the middle of nowhere and he was waving his hands and,” saw a pit of sand and it had said help me please “so I made a landing on the little island, then when I landed on the ground me and my dad had pushed the dead pilot out of the plane when my dad jumped in the seat and “said to me I will show you the way, home son.

        Main event 2 learning to survive in the middle of nowhere

Dad showed me the way home, then suddenly the engine stopped then I started to panic  then I started praying and praying that we don’t die then I felt the swift of an angle 

Through my body and at that moment I knew that we were gonna make it but when the plane crashed into a lake we had to figure out how to survive in the wilderness.

7. build a fire out of sticks and wood.

8. use 2 rocks to light the fire.

In the end, dad and I did survive and we found our way home 10-20 minutes out of
