new strategy called doubling and halving

 In class, we have learned a new strategy called doubling and halving

When you do this strategy you have a complicated number  and you could either double it or half it 

Example:

5x48=240

double the five and that becomes 10

then you half the forty-eight and that  becomes twenty-four

and my answer is two hundred and forty

 In class, we learned about limerick poems they are silly poems that have five lines and usually introduce people

Here is an example of one independently or (I wrote with my table group)

Limericks are silly poems they have five lines and usually introduce people and are humorous.

Class example…

I once met a boy from Taheke.

Who thought he was Tumeke?

But he lost all of his game.

And realized he was vain.

Ohh that boy from taheke.

My example…

I once met a teacher from Spain.

Who loves to go out into the rain?

Her umbrella was pink.

And it made people think.

She would never go out again.

Apostle Paul 

I once was a man named Saul.

I thought I knew it all.

I persecuted the church.

I went to Damascus to search.

Where Jesus transformed me into Paul.

I had lost my sight

All I could see was night.

I heard Jesus’s voice.

I made Him my choice.

Praise the Lord, I saw the Light
